New Zealands Got Talent was a very successful New Zealand talent show that aired on Prime TV in 2008. Chaz Cummings, a 16 year old dancer from Wellington was eventually crowned the winner.
New Zealands Got Talent was part of a larger Got Talent movement that was started by Simon Cowell, of American Idol fame. Airing for the first time in America in 2006, the show was judged by David Hasselhoff, Brandy Norwood and Piers Morgan. The show has since exploded in popularity, resulting in spin-off shows all over the world.
